Thank you for your interest in exhibiting and selling your work at Viernes Culturales/Cultural Fridays, our monthly arts and crafts fair on the last Friday of every month, at SW 8th St. between 14th and 17th Avenues, from 7 - 11 p.m. The fair is produced by Viernes Culturales/Cultural Fridays, Inc., a nonprofit organization. We want to help Little Havana by preserving, cultivating and promoting local arts, culture, heritage and small businesses.
How to participate as an artist/artisan at Viernes Culturales/Cultural Fridays:
1. You must be an artist and artisan selling your own original work, not the work of others or mass-produced products.
2. Read and fill out this application and Rules for Artist/Artisan Participation. Make sure you understand the rules of participation. By signing the application, you agree to the rules.
3. Return the completed application to Viernes Culturales/Cultural Fridays Inc. Also include:
a. A short biography or resume (in English or Spanish)
b. Photos of your work, or a link to a Web site with photos
4. Once accepted, you can sign up for a membership based on how you want to participate (three months, six months or a year). Buy a 6-month or longer membership and get special benefits such as discounts at art supply stores! You will receive a Welcome Package including instructions, a membership card and permit, a map and your space assignment.
